How To Choose the Right Gin?

Choosing the right Gin

If you're wondering how to pick up a good bottle of gin from a
gin bar for yourself or as a gift for someone else, then we can help. There are so many different types and styles out there that you won't want to miss out on any of them! Learn how to choose (and why) with our piece on choosing a gin!

And we can't stress this enough, don't be afraid to try new gins! It's the best way to discover the gins you enjoy, and we all know there's nothing more disappointing than spending money on a gin that ends up being disappointing to you.

At Bondi Liquor , we have a number of hand selected gins available to buy.

We encourage you to try new Gins, and it's this choice that assists us in selecting our best sellers. Gin is a spirit that can easily become heavy and almost alcoholic in taste, therefore with that said, it's recommended to try a lighter and smooth tasting Gin when first beginning the Gin experience.

A lighter gin such as 4 Pines Small Batch Dry Gin is perfect, as is the Rufus Teague Premium Dry Gin. Both these Gins present a light and smooth yet very flavoursome taste, and are thoroughly enjoyed by customers.

Gin is not all sloe gin and tonics! There are so many different types of gin, and so many ways to enjoy it! Feel free to get creative and test out some new and exciting ways of enjoying your favourite gin. For example, if you're mixing a G&T, it's recommended that you mix your gin with a premium tonic water such as Fever Tree or a mixer such as Schweppes (again, not cola). Lemon wedge or lime slice is also optional. A garnish can however make your G&T look that much better, and gives it that professional edge! It's recommended that you stir your G&T sufficiently to mix up the gin and the tonic water, this ensures that your G&T is mixed thoroughly, and that both your gin and tonic taste are balanced. It's also important that you sip your G&T . It's all too easy to just chuck it down, but it's guaranteed to taste so much better if you sip it slowly and enjoy it! And if you're looking for an extra special G&T experience, try adding garnish such as a sprig of rosemary or thyme. It's the perfect garnish!
